Bike Sharing – the latest craze developing in city centres around Australia.
It both positively impacts peoples ability to commute and gets more cars off the road. This means a reduction in emissions as well as traffic congestion.
Chinese-based company ofo introduced operations into Adelaide last year and saw usage of over 20 000 riders since it’s launch. Brisbane’s city council offers a CityCycle bike Hire which offers 24-hour access and courtesy helmets!
With such a great response, it would be great to see the bike sharing trend spread.
