The Queen says No to plastic straws, bottle and microbeads!

By March 9, 2018No Comments

The Queen has taken a hard line on the use of plastic straw, bottle and microbeads across all the Royal estates since February this year.

Queen Elizabeth has been working with Sir David Attenborough on a conservation documentary that deals with wildlife throughout the Commonwealth (52 countries).

So why is this important? Well, we all know Sir David Attenborough’s stance on plastics but to have the Queen take note of the importance of eliminating plastic means all those who admire and respect her (a wide audience) will be influenced too.

90 percent of all trash floating on the ocean’s surface is plastic and it’s people like Sir David Attenborough and the Queen who can dramatically affect if this trend continues.

Every decision we take makes a difference, no matter how small.  So refuse that straw in your next cocktail and buy eco-friendly body wash and sleep a little better at night.
